Hiroshiga Inspired Sunrise Over the Ocean
Hiroshiga Inspired Sunrise Over the Ocean

An oil painting of a sunrise over the ocean loosely in the style of a Hiroshiga print. The colours and trees were inspired by a photo I took in False Bay. I made the original painting quite large, 6' x 3' - the piece works well as a large painting.
I believe this painting has a calming and soothing effect on the viewer.
