My WWII Work

This is a long term project that will culminate in a book populated with photographic portraits of the pilots I interviewed as well as some painted portraits. It will also include drawings and paintings of events described to me by the pilots. Please subscribe to my email list for updates.

I have dozens of first-hand stories to draw upon for my WWII drawings, paintings and photographic portraits of veterans - mainly pilots.

I draw events described to me by 32 WWII combat pilots I interviewed and photographed in ten countries. I normally do this in the style of large black & white photos. Some painting are in progress as well.

Please email me if you would like to buy a limited edition print of my WWII work, or an original.

I also photographed and interviewed seven WWII-era Ukrainian women partisans, soldiers and aircrew who saw combat against the invading German armies and participated in the push back to Berlin. This work will be featured in a book for which I have finished the first drafts.
