USAAF Lieutenant Dick Nielsen described to me piloting a B17 over Germany when  Luftwaffe Komet Rocket flew past the front of his aircraft at which point every forward facing 50 caliber machine gun opened fire on the German aircraft. My large format (A0) drawing captures that moment.
